The STEVIC® ventilation panel developed by Inter Continental is an innovative and cost-saving solution for your pen. The STEVIC® system is a section wall and ventilation panel in one. The sow receives conditioned fresh air directly where it is needed via this section wall.

Operating result.

Aside from a cost-saving solution in construction, you can also record better operating results with the STEVIC® panel combined with the Duraplast slurry sray of Inter Continental.

When the health status of your animals improves through a fresh and constant climate and low infection pressure, this clearly leads to better results.

The time required to recover the investment in a STEVIC® system with slurry tray is therefore very short.

Energy costs

The efficient manner of ventilating and heat exchange lead to a decrease in energy use and this results in a saving of 30 to 40% in your energy costs.

Fresh air to the sow

Computer numerical control (CNC) of equipment makes it possible to create inlets in a specially constructed section wall in order to effectively lead the air current to where it is required: at the nose of the sow.

Climate control

In the adjoining diagram you can see the “climate
control” properties of the STEVIC® system.
At an outside temperature of 9ºC the temperature in
the pen is heated to 16ºC and at an outside temperature
of 26ºC the temperature is cooled to 20ºC.
